Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring takes place over 3 days from 20th to 22nd January 2019 at Glasgow’s SEC. Over 500 companies exhibit thousands of products to 5000 trade buyers from department stores, multiples, mail-order, online, tourist attractions and independent retail outlets who attend the show.
The show incorporates the following 4 specialist areas:
In addition to the four main product areas Showcase Scotland covers approximately one half of the show and incorporates approximately 250 of the very best Scottish companies creating a focus for UK and overseas buyers of both new and established Scottish brands. Showcase Scotland boasts some of the most internationally recognised Scottish brand names.
The Launch Gallery was established ten years ago as a platform for new start up companies and comprises approximately 30 stands located together in the heart of the show. The aim of the Launch Gallery is to provide new design-led companies with a suitable platform to present their products to the market. In addition it provides retailers with an easy and simple way of discovering who the stars of the future might be. The Gallery uses a different stand fitting system to stand out from the rest of the show. Companies chosen to exhibit in the Launch Gallery must have innovative design-led products with strong commercial appeal. The Gallery is subsidised by the show to lower the barriers to entry for young companies and create an affordable sales and marketing opportunity for them.
Scotland’s Speciality Food Show is the only trade show for the speciality food and drink market in Scotland. The show is co-located and runs concurrently with Scotland’s Trade Fair in Hall 4 of the SEC. The fair attracts its own audience of delicatessens, farm shops, speciality food retailers and food hall buyers as well as providing an opportunity for gift shops to purchase food and drink products to complement their existing ranges.
